150mls natural yoghurt
Wash and cook the damson plums until very soft. Place in a sieve with a bowl underneath to capture the liquid and pulp. With a wooden spoon, stir the plums thoroughly until all the pulp and liquid ends up in a bowl, and you have mainly stones left in the sieve.
Into the pulp pour 150ml of condensed milk and whisk. When combined add the natural yoghurt and whisk again. Taste. If the mixture is too sweet and a little more yoghurt, if it is too sour, add a little more condensed milk.
Once thoroughly combined, pour into serving dishes and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Serve with whipped cream and shortbread.
