Crispy seed and Damson Dukkah

Ingredients

1 ½ cups sunflower seeds
½ cup ground almonds
¼ cup sesame seeds
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
3 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp water
3 tsp Damson Plum Powder 

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C.  Place all ingredients in a food processor.  Blitz until you get a fine crumb. The mixture should be slightly sticky.  Bake in a baking tray lined with baking paper until golden.  The outer edges will cook first, so halfway through cooking, turn the mixture over with a spoon.  Total cooking time will be about 15 – 20 minutes. 

Once cool, use your hands to break up any clumps.  Great served with olive oil and fresh bread.

The Dukkah can be stored in an airtight container for up to four days.  It may also be kept in freezer.
