Bacon and Blue Cheese Salad
250grms bacon – 1 piece cut into 1cm pieces
250grms blue cheese
80grms Walnut halves or pieces
Mixed Salad leaves
Damson Plum Dressing
Fry bacon until crisp and set aside. Make croutons by slicing bread into 1cm cubes and frying in the bacon fat. Finely chop the chives.
Take the salad leaves and toss generously with Damson Plum Dressing.
To make the salad take half the salad leaves and place in a bowl, sprinkle half the bacon, chives, walnuts, blue cheese and croutons on top. Repeat this until all the ingredients are used. Serve straight away.
